I realize that we must request payment upfront, on arrival for the date, but should we charge for cancelation, for time reserved? If so, 24 or 48 hrs. cancelation? Fee of $100? To put into a PayPal account on the internet, usual only for that purpose, on the day of scheduling upcoming date?

DO YOU THINK THIS IS FAIR FOR BOTH MYSELF AND THE CLIENT? WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM BOTH SIDES.

Initial email....notify of these rates?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.....

Hi hun, if they cancel before you get out there then thats fine but if they make the appointment and you get there and then they cancel then there should be 100$ cancelation fee. as for pay-pay ive never done it myself.

This is a problem that works both ways. I made and paid for air reservations, a hotel for the night, car rental, reservations for an adventure outing, hotel reservations at the place we would be going on our adventure and then a week before I am to meet the escort I can't get in touch with her.

From reviews I've read I'm not the only one who has had this problem. A possible solution could be to deposit a fee into an escrow account, at a bank, and whom ever fails to cancel looses their funds. This would be an incentive to both parties to keep their arrangement.

I'm not really keen on sending a lady money for a deposit if I don't know her and I certianly don't know if she is going to be there when I get there.

The escrow account sounds like a very fair idea. Tell me more about how you'd see that happening, exactly.

I honor my time committments with my clients. If I can't, I'll either reduce the rate or extend the time if the appointment is rescheduled. Both the client and the escort's time is valuable and both have a responsibility to honor the time made.

I'm sorry your trip was a bust.

Take care,
Leslie

I'm not exactly sure on how to set up an escrow account but I know that realtors and Title companies use them all the time. I'm pretty sure a bank office could give you more info on the use and setting one up. The interesting thing is that escrow accounts earn intrest while on deposit.

Both parties would have to notify the bank that the conditions were met in order to release the funds to whom ever they go to.

My trip was great. I discovered an sp who agreed to go with me only 4 days before my trip. As soon as I can I will down load some pictures from it.

Take care,
Paul
