being in this line of business or monkey business as they sometimes call it
do girls get offended if someone call u a whore ? a slut ? a bitch ? fucking machine ? all the words simply meanprostitute or girl for hire. how do our beloved service providers feel about being discriminated or degraded by name-calling labelling ?

I think it rude to ask it like that

I think if name calling bothers you,then you are to thin skinned,if you have confidence then nothing anyone says will bother you.I choose to do this and,am proud of myself for carrying myself like a lady at all times,so call me what you choose,I know who I am.Remember the age old saying,sticks and stones may break my bones,but names will never hurt me.
We all put labels on people because of what they do,I think it's more important to judge a person by their character,not their occupation.

I definitely am not offended by anything anyone calls me.if we want to be technical the men( hobbyists) are formally know in the correctional world (in Canada) as johns,and the ladies are knows as hookers,prostitutes. This has been around before all of our days,and nothing we can do to change it. The nicer ways to calling upon us would be escorts,service providers,and hobbyists.I agree with cristycurves we shall judge each other more by our characters not our "occupations"

One lady I love to see insists that I call her "My Dirty Little Slut", some women like being talked to in crude terms others don't. I always ask if there is some thing that I can not call the lady I am with.

one can see true personalities of a girl based on their reactions. proud and arrogant girls dont like it. more down to earth ladies are fine with it.

While all the words may at least imply prostitution, they do not carry the same exact meaning. In addition the implication of prostitution would only apply with some of them via context and nuance. If I heard 'bitch', for example, I would not automatically assume the speaker meant prostitute. I think most would agree that the 'N' word and 'African American' do not mean the same thing, even though they can in fact be synonyms for a race. They are different due to their nuance and have different meanings in different contexts. Without nuance there would be no need of synonyms. Additionally, as language evolves, nuance changes too. What was taboo once may be ok now, or vice-versa. While, we should probably become strong so names calling doesn't bother us, a speaker's word choice is indicative of how they think about a subject and (particularly in this case) helps us determine who is likely to be safe or not. Naturally, some people like to be called names, but it may be best not to assume so until asked.

As a hobbyist, it does'nt bother me to B called a John, client, or any other word; I'm too thick-skinned to let mere words bother me. Too often, the world thinks we need to B politically correct at all times!
