Hobbyists

A hobbyist is exactly what it sounds like. These are men who sees providers, as a hobby. Another term for this is pooning. And men who poon are pooners. Some hate this term, some embrace it. Personally I prefer the term “hobbyist” to “pooner”.

A lot of providers won’t see hobbyists. They say it makes them feel cheap, it cheapens what they do and provide, the ridicule they receive from the hobbyists on message boards and review sites isn’t worth the money.

Are there some hobbyists that shit all over women for every little flaw, who criticize them on message boards, who degrade them as human beings? Yes. It takes very little searching to find discussion that would sicken you. The way they talk about these women can be horrifying.

But that’s not all hobbyists! Not even close!

The average hobbyist, in my personal experience, is the average guy. They have good hygiene, they make good small talk. They’re there to get down to business, to get what they want how they like it. At the end, they shower, dress, and leave. No ands, ifs, or buts. Clean cut, fun, non-rushed time. I’d liken it to an NSA arrangement with someone you meet at a bar – except without the inebriation and awkwardness.

And I like this, I’m not at all opposed to the get down to business approach. I’m a fan of the afternoon quickie as much as they are. And I’m okay with what may be said on boards or review sites later. I go into the session knowing that, and I am not afraid of what they’ll say. Not one bit. I am more than happy to see hobbyists. It does encourage me most of the time If I’m not in the mood, I simply won’t schedule it.

Speaking ONLY for myself, I became a hobbyist when my marriage fell apart. I'm sure everyone has their own reason for being a hobbyist. I don't like the term 'pooner' as that denotes a horndog & dishonesty. It also shows the woman as less than an equal.

As a Hobbyist I prefer that term to any other. But I have posted a forum or blog or something on the history of Hookers and Johns. The Union Army general charged with keeping soldier and ladies apart was named General John Hooker, so that's where those names orginiated.
I started seeing ladies while I was in Vietnam. I would take some of my men and we would go AWOL and head to Siagon and spend the night in a bar with rooms above the bar.
My first R&R was in Bangkok and that's where my first experience with an escort. The girls would spend the entire time with us and took us every where, translated for us and introduced us to the local food and I went to the house of the girl that was staying with me and met her family.
When ever I travel I travel alone and always find an escort to join me on my visit. I respect escorts and treat them as I would any lady. We are all human beings created by one almighty parent and all live on the same planet so, we should treat every one as family.

I prefer Asian women to American women by a country mile. I like their family ties which I think is more attractive than American women's careers. I'm MORE comfortable w/Asian ladies. However, this is just my personal opinion!

You think Michael prefers Asia women because they are "the product of her ecucation to sever her master?"Maybe he just like piteit women, or like me: I just happend to prefer women with darker skin, dark hair and brown eyes. My first wife was Mexican and I loved her dearly.

I realize that. But I am what in the military is know as a chamelion fighter: I adapt to my adversaries tactics without even being aware of it. It would be best to keep such opinions to yourself. Me being Asian refuses to be treated like s---. My clients are not my master although they pay me for my services that does not make me less of a person. I smile not because I am serving my master. I have no problem serving and treating anyone like a king but I should not be seen as a slave, I have 2 housekeepers and I refuse to treat them like slaves. I wont allow myself to be treated like one.
