Should I start an agency?

I've been an independent escort for three years, now, and I've been thinking about starting up my own agency. I like the idea of more money but it also seems like alot of work... Does anyone here have any advice? Have any of you transitioned from being an escort to actually running a business?

I found this place Exotic Publishing but I don't know if I want to front the $$ for it...

I have a gf who says she has a cousin that bought it and did the program and is earning lots of money now, but I don't know this person, and I am not too tight with my gf, more like acquaintances...

Please let me know if you girls have tried anything like this!!!

I started my own little service and it is alot of work. Advertising, answering phones, keeping track of the girls, in fact the hardest part is finding decent responsible employees. I would get 1 or 2 ladies who were beautiful, reliable, responsible, then they quit or stop showing up to appointments. A few only want to work in the middle of the night, I could go on and on. I prefer just working for myself by myself, I do have a few industry friends that use my incall location and throw me money per date but other than that it is just me. I would say unless you have the escorts lined up to work already DON'T DO IT!!! It is more work than it seems and it is more fun to do the calls myself.

WOW! Exotic Publishing is expensive! I'd think very carefully before putting that kind of money into anything. You can get a website for free or very cheap, and most advertising is either free or very reasonable.

I'm in the UK, so my experience with agencies may be different from what is the norm in the US. A lot of UK agencies are struggling because girls no longer want to turn over half their income to someone who does little more than answer the phone. Girls who have the brains to put together a website and advertising generally do. Getting quality girls to pay an agent is pretty difficult. You might have good luck with part timers, students, etc who don't want to put the work in to making a site and advertising, but this creates problems of its own.
