Hi everyone!!!!!

Seems that CL erotic services are dying out and days are numbered. I have noticed a great deal of degrading people being posted on craigslist and obviously majority of the cutomers degraded to the same level. At this point it is hard to come across a decent gentleman who is in his right mind and speaks normal words not garbage. Well CL was a good place to post your ads and now it seems to be pointless and it's just gets harder and harder with all that scum being there. Only several decents posters are left and everyone else have dissapeared. Well what I was thinking about is may be it is a good time to start looking for other places to be posted on, so I would like to ask for your help if you know of any good places where personal ads will produce responce. As from my own experience I would say that Backpage was not really working for me and I was getting about 2 calls from three ads I had on preferred spot. So if anyone will be kind enough to share on what are the good spots to get calls from or may be gentleman who hang out here would share their favorite sites that they use.

Hope this will benefit everyone and thank you in advance.

Have you tried escortvault.com or aesource.net? Very similar sites and a pretty active community. Hope that helps.

outcall.net is excellent, Sophie helps you place your ads, banners etc.
She is very trustworthy, she offers both free and paid ads, she also has newsletters and blogs to help us make money. Trust me once you start with her you will be hooked. Also she will answer her phone and speak with you directly.

Other than that I have great sucess with escorts.com as well

Thank you ladies for listing other sites that I can also look at. I get great results from this site we are all on here, but I always want to know others also. I hope all girls are safe and happy at other sites you girls have mentioned. I think CraigsList is not good place to post because of problems with police.

I used to love CL but they have just gone downhill. really hard to meet anyone decent thru there - even if your not looking for a client/hobbyist.

The Erotic Review is good if you live in one of the hot areas that they service - I have a gf who lives in Mpls and she gets at least a dozen email inquiries a day from men on that site.

Sophie's Outcall is good.

I like backpage - I think it probably depends on your area and what you offer. I am the only BBW provider in my local area so get several emails a week and am working on becoming a BDSM provider as well since I get requests for it and there aren't any in my area.

Location of where you live has alot to do with the best places for you to advertise.

I don't know why a hobbyist would go to CL for the same reasons mentioned here by providers. Just ugly and difficult to filter reality from emotion and trashy spin.

Backpage has been good for me also. TER is good in some places but not particularly for my body type in So. Florida. I could never (personally) deal with CL and the type of calls in brought in. I ran one ad and never ran another.LOL

There are trillions of sites and Directories. Good search engine placement keeps me going as well.

Here in the Philippines Cl is just so unreliable. It is so sad that they flag ads in there. I still wonder who is the culprit but because of them really I could never keep my ad up there. I tried contacting CL for this reason but I dont think they care much. I believe it is just so stupid to keep on flagging ads, seems like no one wants business. It is just a pity, there would be days that nothing will be up there. So sad.

As I was watching CNN, today, a banner passed across the screen: DOJ to seek closing down of CL adult ads. So it is possible there will be no more CL for escorts to use. It will force hobbyist and SP's to web sites where they'll collect data and eventually use it to support the legalization, due to the huge tax base they could have. Or waste more money and time fighting human nature that will never change.

I found the following recent article in PC Magazine here in the USA regarding this matter.

AGs Want Craigslist to Shut Down 'Adult Services' Section (Again)

By: Chloe Albanesius

08.25.2010

The battle between our nation's attorneys general and online classifieds site Craigslist continued Wednesday when 17 AGs penned a letter to the site's founders asking that they immediately remove Craigslist's adult services section.

Ads for prostitution are "rampant" on Craigslist, they wrote. "Because Craigslist cannot, or will not, adequately screen these ads, it should stop accepting them altogether and shut down the adult services section," according to the letter.

The letter was signed by attorneys general from Arkansas, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

The letter referenced two women who recently came forward and said they had been sold for sex on Craigslist, as well as an undercover CNN report that easily found advertisements for prostitution.

In response to the two women, Craigslist co-founder Jim Buckmaster posted a blog post earlier this month that said the company wanted to learn more in order to improve the site's preventative measures. He asked them to send police reports or any other information to Craigslist's lawyers. He also suggested that at least one of the girls might have been victimized before Craigslist ditched its "erotic services" section in favor of a monitored "adult services" section in May 2009.

The attorneys general said Wednesday that this response amounted to victim blaming.

"It also disregards, perhaps intentionally, two fundamental facts. First, Craigslist is the only player in the sex industry who is in a position to stop these ads before they are published," they wrote. "Second, once an ad goes live on the site, it is a virtual certainty that someone will be victimized. Yes, the perpetrators may eventually be apprehended and brought to justice, but the victim, assuming she survives, will carry the scars for life. No amount of after-the fact documentation will erase that enduring harm. Equally important, your much-touted 'manual review' of Adult Services ads has failed to yield any discernable reduction in obvious solicitations."

"No amount of money, however, can justify the scourge of illegal prostitution, and the suffering of the women and children who will continue to be victimized, in the market and trafficking provided by Craigslist," they concluded.

The letter from the two women was publicized in the form of an advertisement funded by the FAIR Fund. That group also asked Craigslist to remove its adult services section.

Recently, Buckmaster posted another blog post called "Manual Screening Matters," which touted its screening process. He pointed the finger at other services – namely eBay – which he said has not imposed strict rules, and clearly traffics in sex ads.
