Hello,can someone reccommend good hotel in Bangkok.

What are you doing in Bangkok? It makes a difference. Many like to stay near the city center...Siam Square area, but traffic there is the worst in the city. I like staying on the river with access to the skytrain that will take you to Siam square for 60 baht (less than $3.00). So check out Shangri La, Peninsula and Marriott Resort.

Do you know of any good places near the beaches? I've bee to BKK once and never got near the beach.

If you decide to go to the beach city of Pattaya, here is a very good hotel located on the famous "Walking Street." It's called SECRETS.

I highly recommend this hotel if you go to Pattaya! A= service, extremely friendly staff...and above all VERY AFFORDABLE!

A word of advice, though. Book a room as early as possible. This is THE most popular hotel in Pattaya IMO!

you been on RR so you know as much about working girls I am sure as any man but it dpend on how much you want to just relax. I think Jomtein better unless you want to be in the full on sex scene where girls will grab you and approach you to take them. Jomtein is much more quiet for that and if you want the full on sex it just a few baht taxi away. The sex place can be fun but some time is good to be a liittle more out of the way too and go at your leasure.

Thank you for the information. I'm a SCUBA diver so I will be searching for a place where I'll be able to do some diving and have fun relaxing on the beach with a nice companion and have great times at night.

It does not cost much to fly from Bangkok to Phuket or Samui where you would find some outstanding diving off the outlying islands. Google "Diving in Thailand islands". Patong Beach on Phuket island also has the active night life capable of meeting your personal needs of the moment.

PAUL I ask one my client I know is diver. He say pattaya is water is not clear anymore even far out so divng not as good he say clear water is. I copy my talk with him. he live pattaya.

Having been to Bangkok 3 times, I recommend the JW Marriott hotel or the Courtyard hotel as both R nice.

In the short term while Bangkok is under siege from demonstrations and violence, I think such advice should ad consideration for proximity to the violence to reduce risk.
