My niece and her college friends are in the kitchen makeing cakes and pies. I already make the dressing and cut up potatoes last night.
It's a real eye opener to have a bunch of Dorm Brats in my house, talk about living in a fantasy world.
I went to college on the G.I. Bill so, I had already spent 3 years in the Army. Now I know why I never lived in a dorm, these kids have no idea of what the real world is like. I would've gone crazy living in a dorm.
At least I'm thankful they're going to college.
As soon as they finish, I'll start the real cooking they get to make the salad.
Last night my niece asked me if I liked cooking. I told her cooking is just throwing a bunch of stuff together until you like the way it smells and then cook it. I never really thought of it, I do like to sharpen knives, though.LOL
