Anal sex should not hurt, especially a couple of days afterward.

Do not use desensitizing lube; pain is a message that something is wrong. Not a good idea to do it drunk, either. You need your wits about you.

If you start slowly with a smaller toy, use plenty of lube, and take your time, there should be no pain.

Bleeding that doesn't stop pretty quickly could be serious, and should be seen by a doctor.
