Forum - Craigslist

I was recently contacted by a guy who said that he saw me on craigslist. I was so shocked, because I have never used craigslist. I asked a friend and she said that another site may have posted my info as some third party thing. Ladies just be careful when posting ADS online. Be sure you know about there policies especially if its a free posting site.
I told the gentleman that i have never posted on Craigslist. Unfortunately I am not sure about making any plans with him. LE have been HOT on craigslist lately.

Looks like copyright infringement...

I would suggest two possible ways... First, some of the free ad sites you posted your personal at reposted the ad to CL with your ad's URL on it to gain more visitors. In this case it depends on their TOS if there was an infringement or not. They might have some statement giving them the right to repost the content. We so rarely read the long TOS pages... Second, the guy might've been surfing many sites including CL gathering contacts. So he just might've guessed, that he found you on CL. People often mix things :)
