There are so many message boards available for people of all vocations, interests, races and religions to post on. When I first encountered them I found them to be interesting and even a little addictive. I think that the appeal for many people is the anonymity that it provides. You sign up with a screen name of your choosing. The captivating thing that occurs is when you are only known by a screen name it is so easy to get lost in the screen name. Behind that Screen name you have the ability to express yourself in ways that are not always possible in waking life. If you disagree with a poster it is effortless to state what an imbecile that you think that they are and offer them an all expense paid vacation to the Kiss My Ass resort of your choice.
If you agree give them the accolades that you think that they are worthy of to pay tribute to their words of wisdom. Bear in mind that the latter may get you banned or at the very least severely reprimanded from some sites while others my hail you a folk hero. It largely depend upon where you go.
Then there are the boards that will penalize you for simply not agreeing with their views or sharing their beliefs. These boards no matter how respectable you are if you post your view or information that does not fall in line with the popular school of thought you will be treated as though we are the most reprehensible human being on the face of the earth.
Being an escort I have made my rounds to several of the message boards that various escorts and advertizers have made available for working girls and punters alike. They seem to operate pretty much the way that most others do.
The one thing that I have learned is that you cannot depend upon your screen name for anonymity with these boards. I have learned a lot over my years of message board posting and have arrived at the conclusion that it is wiser to read these board for information. Learn about the temperament of the people that are posting. Observe the board hierarchy, the petty fights, the jubilant jibes and the exchange of views and take it with a grain of salt but by all means post very little or not at all. It is best to be a little mysterious. People seem to have more of an appreciation if the think that you are above the fray.
When I do post these days as a response to a serious topics like politics or religion I do so stating my view and leaving it at that. If I get a non-confrontational or a response that is in unison with mine fine, but the ones that are oppose my view I simply have learned to ignore. I have no wish to change anyone's view just express my own.
My favorite escort board is at Sheffield Scene simply because it is home to some of the most amiable lads and lass's that I have had the good fortune to post with. They find joy in most things and if people disagree it is not to be drug out forever in a day. It is nipped in the bud and people move on to the next topic. Not to mention the fact that many of these people know and respect each other.
I guess in the end my best advice on these boards are to not sweat the petty stuff but if you get a chance pet the sweaty stuff.

I am dedicating this blog to people who are inconsiderate of my time. I value my clients time. That is why I am rarely late unless it is something beyond my control. If that is the case I will make it up at no extra cost to the client because I am after all running a business. If they are good clients you want them to be satisfied and not just come back to you, but refer you to their friend.
Recently I had a client go through all of the motions of booking an appointment and in the end not only did he not show up, he did not even have the common decency to call me and tell me that something came up. It never ceases to amaze me how little respect so many punters have for what we as escorts do. I had a client not show up for an appointment and then three days later he came knocking at my door for an appointment that he did not show up for three days before. I needed the money but turned it down. Why? I do not want to see anyone who has such blatant disregard for me or my time. By showing up without calling three days later may have given him a sense of power and entitlement but it only gave me a feeling of annoyance and anger that someone could be so rude as to show up on my door step uninvited without a thought as to rather I had another appointment or even family.
I at one time gave respect and even defended a few of the men that felt more comfortable calling from withheld numbers. I understand the concern about discretion because it is also a concern for me as well. What I do cannot understand nor abide is this nonchalant attitude about blowing off an appointment with ease after putting so much time and effort into making it to begin with.
Some time waster get off on calling and talking to an escort to make an appointment. Most of this type has no intention of carrying through with an appointment because they can't afford it anyway. Then you get the ones that have the means to pay for an appointment and are nervous about seeing an escort for the first time. This person will conquer his fear and see one or forget it all together.
The time wasters that annoy me the most are the ones that can afford to see escorts as a matter of fact they do but they regularly waste an escorts time simply because they view her as someone strictly there for his pleasure. This type also gets angry when you are not available for him when he wants to see you and just doesn't get that you are a businesswoman with a schedule to keep. He doesn't understand that you are not his personal play toy but you have other clients to see.
For some reason he treats you like a wife or a girlfriend that he can take for granted and then gets a serious attitude when you point out the fallacy in his thought process. If I wanted to be a traditional wife to be taken for granted I could have remained one. I chose for various reasons not to remain in such a situation.
If you want me to respect your time then all I ask in return is that you respect mine as well. Remember escorts are WOMEN. Not many women can enjoy sexual intimacy or even a good FUCK with a man who disregards her. Well I can't anyway.
